    I’ve seen him play a free outdoor show in the Vancouver suburbs, in a park under the Skytrain tracks. I’ve seen him play an acoustic show with his friends and his dad, in an old theatre where you have to sit down. I’ve seen Joel Plaskett play his hometown now, Dartmouth, NS, in a bar that looks like a ship, with a crowd who braved a thunderstorm and wouldn’t rather be anywhere else.
